The Grayhawk Elementary Dads' Club exists for the enrichment of our children's educational experience through voluntary involvement of fathers and legal male guardians of students at Grayhawk Elementary.

The 2012-2013 school year was the first year our Dad's Club was active.  As we continue to grow, we are open to ideas and suggestions from the Dads on how to best compliment and support any existing school programs and activities.  We're also looking for new ideas to help us create, design and construct some new programs & activities.

Some of the activities/events we support include:
  • Volunteering during Recess to help organize and execute casual games; e.g. kickball, basketball, soccer, etc.
  • Serving food and drinks at the Fall Festival & other events.
  • Daddy Daughter Dance
  • Dads and Donuts during Book Fair week
  • Help at LYNX Laps

Through active involvement in school activities, dads are able to both enhance their bonds with their children and help build a stronger school/community partnership to ensure a superior educational experience. Through better inter-parental interaction, dads can establish stronger social ties with one another and be more aware of the latest school developments and direction.
