Library
The PTO recently funded a Library Renovation at Grayhawk Elementary School.
The kids love choosing books from the trees and sitting in the houses.
Thank you to everyone who has donated to the PTO for making this possible!

Three ways to help with the new library:
Become a Library Helper:
Come in once a day, once a week, or once a month. Help students pick out appropriate books, and straighten the book shelves. You can stay late after drop-off, or come early for pick-up, or pick a time in between. |
Buy a book for the Library:
The students compiled a list of books that they would love to see in the library, and you can help! Check out this Amazon Wish List and buy a book that catches your eye. The book will be sent directly to the Library. A sticker acknowledging your donation will be placed in the book, and the book will be added to the library collection. And, a leaf with your name on it will be placed on the giving tree. (Be sure to include your student's information when purchasing the book on Amazon.) |
Become a Library Reader:
Sit in the rocking chair and read a short book to a classroom of Second or Third Graders. Bring a (10 minute) book with you, or choose one from the library collection. This is such a great way to share your love of reading with a classroom of kids eager to listen. You can choose to read to your student's class, or pick any class (this is a great opportunity to interact with students and teachers). |
The Library Open House was held on January 18th. Here's some of the fun!
